THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT
Take that brother up in prayer. Though he may not know, pray for him still.
That church…yes! The one you complained about this morning to your friend. Yes!
The way the pastor preached didn’t seem cool. You were sent there for a reason.
Add that pastor and the church to your daily petition.
This is the cry of the Spirit! I hear it within my being. My soul is burdened with this.
Many a time, we hear of great men of God. Charles G. Finney, for example. Oh, he was used of the Lord!
Entire cities turned to the Lord in his ministry. Beer joints, brothels, drug cartels shut down for want of patronage!
What a revival!
But we always forget the likes of Daniel Nash (aka Father Nash). Have you heard of him? I doubt!
There wouldn’t have been any thing like Finney’s ministry without this unsung kingdom hero.
He always go ahead of Charles to cities where Finney is to preach.
He’ll rent an apartment and stay there for days without seeing the light of the sun — praying. Praying for revival! Praying for the SUPERNATURAL!
While we might have forgotten him, heaven doesn’t lose records of men like this.
To us he was unpopular, to God he’s a General!
The call still sound — echoing aloud in the chambers of the heart: “WHO SHALL I SEND?” saith the Spirit.
Where are the men of prayers? Where are those who will sacrifice some Social Media hours to birth the need of the hour?
Where are the men?
Where are the women?
